Evanston Mash Up has a very talented group of individuals as part of its team. Each person plays their role by being able to collaborate and build community; whether it be connecting the community at large, building partnerships and/or providing resources to others. In doing so they are able to provide many community-building experiences and recognize those that contribute to making Evanston such a wonderful place to live.

Stronger communities are developed through personal relationships, collaboration, and shared experiences. As a team our goal is to produce events that allow people to come together and celebrate what makes this community great while fostering positive changes in Evanston.

Allison Parker

Director/ Founder of Evanston MashUp

As Executive Director Allison is responsible for developing Evanston MashUp's vision as well as supporting its continued growth. This includes overseeing all community-based initiatives and partnerships; as well as coordinating and executing all aspects related to event planning. Allison strives to ensure that each event brings the community closer together through meaningful connections.

Marcus Bennett

Community Relations Director

Marcus connects with local businesses, non-profits, schools and government entities to establish stronger ties and foster greater engagement within the community.

Sophia Ramirez

Event & Operations Manager

Sophia coordinates the logistical and operational aspects of Evanston MashUp events including managing event staff, volunteers and attendees. She ensures that each event runs seamlessly from start to finish.

Rachel Kim

Marketing & Communications Manager

Rachel spearheads the development of Evanston MashUp's brand identity; also, she directs digital marketing, social media, as well as the development of stories that showcase the mission behind Evanston MashUp within the community.

David Mitchell

Partnership & Sponsorship Manager

David establishes and builds upon relationships with sponsors and other community partners to generate opportunities for both the event itself as well as the organizations involved.
